Crescentian Of The Year and Evelyn Norris Award
Crescentian of The Year
The Crescentian of the Year award was conceptualised by former Crescentians who contributed and commissioned the Crescentian of the Year sculpture named “The Crescent Embrace”. The sculpture was created by Dr Elsie Yue and commissioned by the CGS Alumnae. Over the years, the cash award has been sponsored by the Crescent Girls’ School Alumnae Association. From 2013 to 2022, the cash award is sponsored by Dr Liew Geok Cheng, a member of the Alumnae Association.
The Crescentian of the Year award is presented to an all-rounder who excels both in academic record and in CCA. The recipient possesses integrity, good interpersonal relationships and has made significant contribution to the school in competitions and service.
