The Mathematics syllabus aims to develop students to:
acquire mathematical concepts and skills for continuous learning and to support learning in other subjects;
develop thinking, reasoning, communication, application and metacognitive skills through a mathematical approach to problem-solving;
connect ideas within mathematics and with other subjects;
build confidence and foster interest in mathematics.
Smart Money Workshop is a financial literacy programme organized for our Secondary one students. Through the series of fun-filled activities, the students learn about the importance of financial planning and how they can make smart money choices in authentic settings.
Secondary 3 Integrated Curriculum
The Secondary 3 Integrated Curriculum is a distinctive school programme that integrates English, Social Studies and Mathematics. Through the lessons, the students delve into contemporary social issues that include ageing population, healthcare, transport and the integration of foreigners in the society. The Mathematics component focuses on the application of statistical representations and computations as students process and analyse data in the real-world contexts. The students will also learn to exercise discernment as they interpret statistical diagrams from print and social media.
Secondary 1 to 3 Training Programme for Singapore Mathematical Olympiad
Secondary one to three students who demonstrate strong passion and talent in Mathematics will be invited to take part in the training programme for Singapore Mathematical Olympiad. These students undergo a series of rigourous training as they develop and deepen their creativity and problem-solving ability.
