CGS Homecoming Fiesta

It was a normal Saturday morning, 4 July 2026… Or so it seemed. In fact, it was the day of the long-awaited Homecoming Fiesta, an event to celebrate memories, friendships, laughter and the spirit that forever connects us to our beloved school. It was a day not only to remember the past, but to celebrate how far we have come together as one family.

The school buzzed with excitement as CCA booths lined the campus, offering a wide variety of games and activities for students, parents, and alumni. From the Ping Pong Ball Toss booth organised by the Digital Art and Photography Club to the thrilling Meltdown and Water Soccer games, laughter and cheers filled the air as participants bonded through friendly competition and shared experiences.

The Performing Arts segment was another highlight of the fiesta. The English Drama society presented Crescent Academy, taking the audience on an emotional yet entertaining journey, while the Crezchorale and Band impressed spectators with their expressive performances and powerful musical pieces. The performances showcased the talent and dedication of Crescentians, earning warm applause from the crowd.

No fiesta would be complete without delicious food. Popular treats such as caramel popcorn, giant cotton candy, muah chee, churros, nachos, and bubble tea drew long queues throughout the day. These crowd favourites added to the festive atmosphere and gave everyone a chance to enjoy a well-deserved snack between activities

As the celebrations drew to an end, the Homecoming Fiesta concluded on a high note, leaving smiles on every face and memories to treasure. More than just a day of festivities, it was a celebration of friendship, school pride, and the lasting connections that unite generations of students. This was the most memorable experience at Crescent Girls School I have had, and I look forward to the next upcoming fiesta, with many more surprises and new games!
