Champion Seminar : Monster’s Inc.
30 September 2026
Crescent’s Monster’s Inc.-themed Champion Seminar 2026 celebrated CCA achievements, featuring interactive gameshows, student performances and CCA of the year.
Excitement filled the air as Crescentians gathered for Champion Seminar 2026, an event celebrating the achievements of our CCAs. This year marked the first Champion Seminar planned by CrezCouncil as one SL group, bringing together many students with different perspectives and personalities to help plan this event. More than a celebration of success, Champion Seminar honoured the journey behind every achievement and the coaches, teachers and instructors who supported students along the way.
This year’s Monster’s Inc. theme added a playful twist to the seminar. The audience followed Boo as she ventured through a monster realm, exploring Crescent’s Sports, Clubs and Societies, Uniformed Groups and Performing Arts CCAs. Her humorous encounters with the different CCA members brought laughter and energy to the hall, while also showcasing the achievements and opportunities each CCA offered.
The excitement continued with four rounds of an interactive gameshow, where Sec 4 CCA captains and presidents competed to answer the most questions correctly about their CCAs and Crescent. The lively competition encouraged participation while allowing students to learn more about the diverse CCAs in Crescent.
As the event drew to a close, Hockey and Canoeing were announced as the recipients of the CCA of the Year Awards, having garnered the most votes from CCA excos and teachers. The event ended by celebrating every CCA’s unique contribution to Crescent, leaving students with a greater appreciation for the people and experiences that shape their CCA journeys.
Through this event, we look back on the many months of preparations and hard work by all the students in our planning team, that has helped us in making this event a success! We would like to thank the planning comm, our EXCO and our Teachers-In-Charge, Ms Amanda Ng and Mr Ho Yuan Seng, for their valuable contributions and efforts that have helped make Champion Seminar 2026 what it was.
