Electrostatic Precipitator      - A device which removes dust and smoke particles from flue gas

Flue Gases                           - Waste gases produced by incineration. Consist of carbon dioxide, hydrogen chloride, sulphurous  and nitrous oxides, smokes and dust particles.

Leachate                             - A toxic liquid by-product when refuse decomposes in the landfill.

Pneumatic Refuse Collection   System        - A new system whick uses vacuum to suck refuse from the bottom of chutes to a central bin centre, via a network of underground pipes.
