                    Boasting Singapore's first electric lights and fans,
                    Raffles Hotel rapidly became a magnet for travellers.

Being the venue for numerous social events,
Raffles Hotel played host to travellers from all over the globe.
Many refugee families congregated at Raffles Hotel
When Singapore was engulfed by World War II.

                    And "Top Hotel in Major World Cities",
                    Being "World's Leading boutique Hotel",
                    Is the legendary Raffles Hotel.
