An Account of our Experiences

Shraddha (leader):

"From this project, we have certainly learnt a lot more about Raffles Hotel. Doing the project was fun, but we did face some problems. We disagreed over some things, could not find a fixed day to hold meetings and things like that. Some of the sources had different information from others. We could not tell which was accurate. Also because one of our members wasn't able to be with us to do the project from May onwards, the rest of us had to put in extra effort. However, we were able to overcome all these obstacles and make this project a success. We have also learnt the importance of co-operation. Without it, we would not have completed the project. We hope to be able to work together again."

Mehnaz:

''This project demanded most of our time after the mid-year examination. Inevitably, there were difficulties faced. Since time was short, sometimes we had to rush through. But the project did have its own advantages. Before doing the project, I knew nothing about Raffles Hotel except for the fact that it was a hotel. At the end, we all had learnt something about Raffles Hotel."

Yun Ying:

"While doing the project, we encountered many difficulties, like when group members could not meet at the same time for certain reasons or when we could not find enough information on a certain topic. Fortunately, with some cooperation from all the members, we managed to complete the project successfully. I feel that Shraddha, our leader, was the most tolerant of us all. Despite all our complaining and squabbles, she pushed us on and gave us each a fair amount of work to do. We certainly would not have come this far without her. "
