STRESS
Stress has been
a great problem and have resulted to tons of problems including hairloss.
When we work too hard stress occurs. Sudden and severe
emotional can precipitate alopecia areata of telogen. However its not proven that chromic
stress can cause hairloss. But why risk it ? Reducing stress is not a lost to us as stress
can cause other problems like headaches, digestive problem or even heart attacks.
Stress may affect hair in a different way. Some
people have a habit of twirling or biting their hair when they are stress. This can cause
hairloss or breakage.
Trichotillomania, a compulsive hair-pulling disorder
that usually affects children and women, is also due to underlying emotional stress.
Emotional stress can also cause dysorphophobra which
is when an individuals suffer from disturbance of body image. They will complain of
hairloss when its not happening .
