Hewlett Packard InIT (gold) and Innergy (gold) Awards for its innovative use of technology in promoting independent learning in 2002. The school distinguishes itself in these competitions by collaborating with the Singapore School for the Deaf in designing an animated story book with sign language for the hearing impaired students as well in creating a virtual laboratory to promote science inquiry.

E-nnovator Award is a scheme by Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore to promote creativity and e-commerce. Crescent Girls' School was awarded for its creative design of an e-commerce website to help the disabled market their handicrafts in 'A Very Special Bazaar' in 2001.
